Meet the ORC

My name is Diana Pelayo, and I am the Outreach Specialist at Christa McAuliffe School. I am incredibly happy to support all of our students and their families! Born in Ciudad Obregón in southern Sonora, México, I moved to Oxnard at a very young age and have called Oxnard my home for many years. As a former English Learner myself, I am deeply committed to empowering our EL community through our ELAC committee.

I am here to assist families navigating homelessness, in need of basic necessities, or looking for community referrals. Ultimately, my goal is to help families get involved and stay connected through active school engagement.
